This privacy policy applies to FREIGHTSTER PTY LTD (ACN 21637937716) ("we", "us", "our") and its affiliates in relation to their operations. It explains how we handle personal information and comply with the requirements of applicable Australian privacy laws (privacy laws). We recognise the importance of your privacy, and that you have a right to control how your personal information is collected and used.

• Suppliers;

• Existing and potential contractors; and • Existing and potential employees,

for various business purposes further listed below.

1.2 The types of personal information we will collect from you will depend on the circumstances in which that information is collected. It will commonly include:

(a) identification information including your driver’s licence or other photo ID;

(b) contact details including your name, ABN, address, email and phone details;

(c) information required for us to do business with you including bank account details, superannuation details, tax file number (TFN) and any other relevant financial information;

(d) other information as part of our normal recruitment or engagement process;

(e) your device ID, device type, geo-location information, computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the sites, ad data, IP address and standard web log information;

(f) details of the products and services we have provided to you or that you have enquired about, including any additional information necessary to deliver those products and services and respond to your enquiries;

(g) any additional information relating to you that you provide to us directly through our website or app or indirectly through your use of our website or app or online presence or through other websites or accounts from which you permit us to collect information;

(h) information on your previous dealings with us;

1.3 We usually collect personal information through:

(a) our app and website, including when you register on those things; (b) when you interact with our sites, services, content and advertising

(c) when you communicate with us through correspondence, chats, email, or when you share information with us from other social applications, services or websites;

(d) orders for products or services;

(e) other employment applications and our normal recruitment or engagement process; and

(f) credit checks.

In addition, when you apply for a job or position with us we may collect certain information from you (including your name, contact details, working history and relevant records checks) from any recruitment consultant, your previous employers and others who may be able to provide information to us to assist in our decision on whether or not to make you an offer of employment or engage you under a contract.

1.4 If you do not provide us with the information we request, we may not be able to fulfil the applicable purposes of collection, such as to supply products or services to you or to assess your application for employment.

(j) to respond to enquiries from existing or prospective customers seeking information about our products or services; and

We will only use or disclose personal information for a purpose other than that for which it was collected or a related purpose if you have consented to such different use or disclosure or such use or disclosure is otherwise allowed by the privacy laws.

4.1 We use a range of service providers to help us maximise the quality and efficiency of our services and our business operations. This means that individuals and organisations outside of us (including Google Maps) will sometimes have access to personal information held by us and may use it on our behalf. Our service providers adhere to strict privacy guidelines and do not keep this information or use it for any unauthorised purposes.

5. Disclosure of information outside Australia

5.1 We may disclose personal information outside of Australia, for example to countries in which Google Maps operates. The privacy laws in these countries may not provide the same level of protection as those in Australia.

However, this does not change our commitment to safeguard your privacy and we will comply with all applicable laws relating to the cross-border disclosure of data.

6. Direct marketing

6.1 Like most businesses, marketing is important to our business' success. We may send marketing materials to current or prospective customers. We only do so in accordance with applicable laws or with your prior consent.

We and/or our carefully selected business partners may send you direct marketing communications and information about our service. This may take the form of emails, SMS, mail or other forms of communication, in accordance with the Spam Act and the Privacy Act. You may opt-out of receiving marketing materials from us by contacting us using the details set out below or by using the opt-out facilities provided (eg an unsubscribe link).

6.2 If you are receiving promotional information from us and do not wish to receive this information any longer, please contact Michael Zhou of Parcel Freight Logistics on michael@pflogistics.com.au asking to be removed from our mailing lists, or use the unsubscribe facilities included in our marketing communications.

7. Our app and website privacy practices

7.1 We sometimes use cookie technology on our websites or apps to provide information and services to visitors. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes and are a necessary part of facilitating online transactions. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies.

7.2 If you do not wish to receive any cookies you may set your browser to refuse cookies. This may mean you will not be able to take full advantage of the services on the website.

8. Links to other websites

8.1 Our apps or website may contain links to third party websites. These linked sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the content of those sites nor are those sites subject to this privacy policy.

8.2 Before disclosing your personal information on any other website we recommend that you examine the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the relevant site. We are not responsible for any practices on linked websites that might breach your privacy.

9. Employee information

9.1 This privacy policy does not apply to the handling of information about our employee by us.

10. Recruitment

10.1 If you send us an application for a position, this information will be used to assess your application. This information may be disclosed to related bodies corporate and service providers for purposes such as:

(a) aptitude, psychological and medical testing; and (b) other human resources management activities.

10.2 As part of the application process you may be asked for your specific consent to the use and disclosure of certain personal information about any pre-employment medical examination or any aptitude or psychological testing. We may also ask you to consent to the disclosure of your personal information to those people who you nominated to provide references.

10.3 If you refuse to provide any of this information, or to consent to its proposed disclosure, then this may affect the success of the application.

10.4 You may also be asked whether you agree to your personal information being provided to our related bodies corporate for other positions relevant to your qualifications and experience.

11.2 If at any time you wish to change personal information that we hold about you because it is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us at tony.lin@pflogistics.com.au and we will amend this record. If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please let us know in the same manner as referred to above and we will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.

12. Retention of information

12.1 When we no longer need to use your information, we will take steps to properly de-identify or destroy it.
